Would you share a happy/fun memory from your childhood?

Summer school holidays, a period when time stood still, and the days lasted forever. Also, a time when I broke my leg rock climbing

What gives your work life meaning?

To be a resource for my colleagues and customers, helping them achieve their goals.

What gives your personal life meaning?

Family. Their happiness and well-being.

Favorite city/place in the world and why?

Hoedspruit, South Africa. It’s my gateway into the great African bush.

Name one thing you are good at and would be your best piece of advice to someone in this regard?

Being objective. Challenge ideas, you can be disruptive and yet remain loyal to the common cause.

What are your favorites hobbies?

Travel (especially in the wine regions of the world) and relaxation (especially in the wine regions of the world).

Where is your dream vacation destination?

Australia, to see my children and grandchildren, but also to see the Great Barrier Reef and explore the country (especially the wine regions).

Where was your favorite vacation?

Namibia. At night you can touch the stars and at sunrise, you can hover above the beautiful sand dunes of the Sossusvlei in a hot air balloon.

What is your favorite Turner Group moment?

Christmas Elves reading Scott Gabbert a bedtime story. Priceless.

What does company culture mean to you?

Inclusion and unity combined with common goals and values.

If you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Cheese, it’s not as boring as it sounds, there are so many varieties as testified in the Monty Python ‘Cheese Shop’ sketch.

What is one of your unwritten rules for work?

Remain true to my integrity.
