It was an incredible few days of innovation, knowledge-sharing, and networking. The conversations we had reaffirmed that the medical manufacturing industry is evolving with new technologies, sustainable solutions, and greater efficiencies.

Supporting our Future
For those of you that have worked trade shows, you probably know that the last day of the show is what we affectionately call “Exhibitor Day”. Since these tend to be lighter days, many exhibitors who have been busy with their booths finally have the time to walk the show themselves. For a lot of us, this is a great time to see the technology for ourselves or just catch up with friends.
Over the past few years, however, IME (Informa Markets Engineering), the show’s host, has aligned their efforts with the industry needs and has turned it into “Student Day”. Hundreds of youth attend the show with their chaperones and many of the exhibitors have the opportunity to share technology with many of the S.T.E.A.M. programs in the area while host exhibitors give short presentations. This is a great opportunity to attract middle school- age students to the industry and give them an insight into our industry.
